One of the standout moments in my professional journey was the period when I experimented with underwater photography. Taking inspiration from America's Next Top Model, I promptly assembled the necessary gear and models to hone my skills in my parents' swimming pool.
During that phase, I was still learning the ropes of Photoshop/Lightroom, hence most of the images you see are straight out of the camera. I've consistently held the conviction that striving for near-perfection in-camera enhances one's photography abilities.
It took a village to make the ANTM shoot happen, including a makeup artist, stylist, wardrobe assistant and I don't even know what else. But we killed it!
As we ran out of daylight, I took one last attempt at underwater with the day's model in a wedding gown. I love it!
Armed with semi-professional gear and a hefty dose of improvisation, my foray into underwater adventures was brief yet enjoyable. Regrettably, my intense commitment led to excessive time spent underwater, culminating in a ruptured eardrum that has permanently barred me from further diving.
Stick around for more images from the past and plans for the future!
Thanks for joining me,
Amy
